Brief Introduction to the Properties of Fluororesin
Highand lowtemperatureresistance:Itcan beused between-200℃and 260℃,and the temperature can reach 300℃ forshort-term use.
Non-stick property:Virtuallyallsubstances do not adhere to the fluororesin coating. Therefore, it offers the best demoulding effectinapplications such as plasticmolds, rubbermolds, printing and dyeing textile rollers, baking trays, rice cookers, etc.
Wear resistance:With a low coefficient of friction and good self-lubricating properties,it is applicable to automotive industry components, petroleum equipment fasteners, electronic noise reduction, etc.
Electrical insulation:It has excellent insulation impedance performance.
Non-hygroscopicity:Due to the unique compactness of fluororesin,it is widely usedin pharmaceutical equipment and the chemical industry.
Conductivity:The conductive coating not only has non-stick properties but can also promptly conduct the static electricity generated during operation out of the workpiece.
Corrosion resistance:It has good durability against weak acid and weakalkali corrosion, and there is no problem in withstanding salt spray tests for3,000 to 5,000 hours.Meanwhile, it also has impermeability, heat resistance, surface hardness, surfacesmoothness, low friction coefficient, low contact angle, mechanical properties, substrate adhesion, low coefficient of thermal expansion, fire safety, etc.

Types and Chemical Resistance of Fluororesins
Classification name Chemical abbreviation Melting point and continuous service temperature Chemical resistance Polytetrafluoroethylene PT FE、F4、Teflon, the King of Plastics Melting point:327℃
Temperature resistance:260℃Itic not roactivo tnall chemicalinductrial dria coontc hut it will roact with alkalihalidoc that are soluble under special conditions(fluorine gas at high temperature and pressure and characteristicfluorine compounds such as CIF₃,OFz,etc.can produce active fluorine at high temperatures). Copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene and perfluoroalkyl vinyl ether PFA、Soluble tetrafluoroethylene Melting point:302℃~310℃
Temperature resistance:260°℃Havethe same levelof chemical resistanceasPTFE. Copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene and hexafluoropropylene FEP、F46 Melting point:253°℃~282℃
Temperature resistance:200℃Although its chemical resistance is the same as that of PTFE, its heat resistance is insufficient. ETFE ETFE、F40 Melting point:270℃
Temperature resistance:150℃Although its chemical resistance is slightly the same as that of PTFE, it is easily corroded by concentrated nitric acid and so on. Copolymer of trifluoroethylene and ethylene ECTFE、F30、Halar Melting point:230℃~270℃
Temperature resistance:150℃It will expand and dissolve in molten alkalis, halides, fluorine gas, or fluorine oils, etc., and will be somewhat corroded by chlorine gas or ammonia at high temperatures. Polyvinylidene fluoride PVDF、Bisfluoride Melting point:170℃
Temperature resistance:130℃~150℃It is easy to decompose in fuming sulfuric acid, high-temperature concentrated sulfuric acid or caustic soda above 1oo°C, and will also expand, soften or dissolve in strongly polar primary amines such as acetone, ketones, dimethyl, and ethanolamines.
